MSMI TECHNICAL DATABASE

Several years ago, MSMI, at the behest of the Loss Prevention Working Group, set up a technical database which contains technical information relating to Members' entered ships.

Members entering vessels with the company are asked to provide ship-specific technical information relative to the ship builder, main engine, auxiliary engines, compressors, centrifuges, boilers and other technical details in order that information may be used in a mutually beneficial manner to assist operators of similar equipment.

Access to the database is through MSMI staff and information is only provided to third parties with Members' prior approval. Any Member wishing to obtain further information about the technical database should contact MSMI.
